Hunter Biden’s gun trial

Hunter, Joe Biden's son, is standing trial today on federal charges related to the illegal possession of a firearm. The charges allege that he lied about his drug use when purchasing a pistol in 2018. Newsweek says the case is more complicated than Hunter’s defense is pretending.

While CNN reports setbacks for Hunter. The judge blocked key evidence and witnesses before trial.

Fox News: This whole thing is pretty sordid. The trial will have to get very personal, with past relationships and drug use.

WaPo reveals a different perspective: This all started as a family spat. And now those family members are testifying against one another. Not good for Biden’s reelection.

NYT: Stop the madness Hunter, and take a deal. Hunter Biden should quickly accept a plea deal to avoid a tough trial and not affect his dad.

Axios agrees that the trial could hurt Joe. Hunter’s mounting legal woes could overshadow Joe's re-election.

WNBA self-sabotage?
