Biden’s mass clemency act

President Joe Biden has enacted the largest single-day act of clemency in modern U.S. history by commuting the sentences of approximately 1,500 individuals and issuing 39 pardons. The Independent says it's a bid for equal justice and second chances.

According to AP News, many of those whose sentences were commuted had been on home confinement during the pandemic.

Fox News highlights how this act, a record in modern history, strengthens the push for public safety and rehabilitation. The individuals granted clemency had successfully reintegrated into society.

UFO drones in New Jersey

Fox News says New Jersey residents and local officials are sounding the alarm after a series of mysterious car-sized drone sightings over multiple counties. Mayors are demanding action, fearing the large drones could pose a risk to residents.

ABC News says New Jersey towns demand for clear answers from their Governor. They say drones are flying near high-profile spots -- this needs to be taken seriously!

But Fox News also reports that state officials, including Governor Murphy, say there's no known threat. The FBI's on it, but locals are urged to report sightings.

For what it's worth, NBC New York adds that a NJ state senator is calling to ban all drone activity until the government has a better handle on the situation.
