🤳🏽 TikTok's rosacea misinformation?

🤳🏽 Rosacea is a chronic skin condition that causes redness on the face. Cleveland Clinic says it's not curable, but it's manageable with the right care.

🤳🏽 But @type.a.style on TikTok said the right product “cured” her rosacea issues.

🤳🏽 Dazed warns that TikTok is full of harmful misinformation on rosacea, though: The “cures” touted on the app exploit sufferers.

🤳🏽 And Wired believes it doesn't stop at misinformation: TikTok Shop's cheap skincare market may be riddled with counterfeits.

⚖️ The Crumbley sentences

⚖️ Detroit News: James and Jennifer Crumbley, the parents of a mass shooter, received 10-15 years in prison, which is the maximum sentence for involuntary manslaughter. The judge emphasized that the parents' behavior was negligent.

⚖️ CNN: Maybe the sentences were fair. In impact statements, families of the Oxford shooting victims called for accountability.

⚖️ But Hot Air wasn't so sure: The Crumbley parents' inaction was criminalized by law. That seems like a stretch.

⚖️ And The Atlantic was also unhappy with the sentencing: The Crumbley sentences are a deflection from systemic gun control failures.
