Muting Mics at Debates

Trump and Biden agreed to mute mics at the CNN debate -- they also are not allowed to bring notes.

NYT likes it: Turn off the mic for rule-breakers, it'll help keep focus on real issues.

This Redditor says naw, it won't help -- the problem is the incivility of candidates.

Another Redditor thinks that mic muting would favor Trump's tactics over Biden's -- Trump could still distract Biden by interjecting, the audience just wouldn't hear it.

The Saturn return

Vogue: It's time for a Saturn return summer!! Who says your 30s can't be as full of fun and chaos as your 20s?

But wait, what is the Saturn return? The NYT explains: It occurs every 29-ish years when Saturn returns to the same position it occupied at the time of a person's birth. It's supposed to mark a time of great change and maturation.

PopSugar says the event can be a good thing: A Saturn return can be a life-altering journey, pushing you towards your true path.

Still, Glamour Mag says the transition to your 30s is always full of change: Embracing the period as a “Saturn Return” just helps people make peace with the chaos.

On the other hand, this blogger thinks astrology is just bogus: It's a myth that exploits people's fear.
