Tesla’s Cybercab

Say hello to Tesla's Cybercab, the pedal-less robotaxi design sparking excitement and skepticism for its self-driving ambitions. The Independent says safety concerns loom large.

The Hindustan Times: Yep, skeptics abound. Experts question Tesla's readiness for a wide-scale rollout, pointing to hurdles like regulations and technology readiness.

While Tbsnews.net says some think Tesla's design doesn't quite fit the mold for public transport, missing features like spaciousness and sliding doors needed for a typical robotaxi.

Yahoo Finance has a similar complaint: Tesla's new sporty, two-seater model raises skips on the practical space expected for most robotaxis.

Exactly, says marketscreener.com. The small, sleek design puzzles experts, who say it feels more like a coupe than a high-capacity transport option.

7-Eleven shutdowns

Abc7.com reveals that 7-Eleven is shuttering 444 underperforming stores amid a cocktail of slumping sales, less foot traffic, and inflation woes.

Ktvu.com: This is 3% of their North American stores. Yes, there are broader economic conditions at play, but also people aren’t buying as many cigarettes anymore.

The Hill agrees: Slumping cigarette sales are a huge reason for the closures. They were once a 7-Eleven staple.

CBS News: Interestingly, 7 Eleven has a huge footprint outside America. It has more than 21,000 stores in Japan, which are doing great.
