X will hide likes

The Verge says X is hiding the ability to see what posts users have liked: The move's is meant to foster more “edgy” content engagement and protect people’s privacy.

A Redditor on r/Technology slammed the move: Hiding likes helps mask toxicity and bots on the site.

But @mjarbo on X thinks the move makes sense, arguing the decision was long overdue.

TechCrunch's take: X's “like” privacy move is confusing and limiting -- why not revive the app's “star” feature instead?

Ozempic off-ramps

Ozempic and similar obesity drugs help people lose weight, but they're expensive and hard to quit. The Atlantic says it's time to explore more affordable alternatives.

But maybe off-ramp treatments are the answer? Bloomberg reports that people are turning to support services for sustainable weight management, post-Ozempic.

On the other hand, this Redditor says Ozempic is dependent by design: To sustainably lose weight, people need to alter their approach to eating.

By the way, if you are quitting Ozempic, eMed says tapering is key: It can help avoid blood sugar spikes and GI symptoms.
