🇮🇱 Israel’s strike on Iran

🇮🇱 After an Iranian drone attack, Israel responded with a targeted strike in Iran. The WSJ says Israel's Isfahan strike is intended to avoid a wider war.

🇮🇱 The Jewish Chronicle applauded the move: Israel's precise strike on Iran showcases strength without escalating tension. It was a strategic win.

🇮🇱 But Haaretz still worries about escalating tensions: The tit-for-tat strike could shake up the status quo.

🇮🇱 And Bloomberg says some Israeli analysts think it was a timid move: Critics say the targeted strike wasn't enough.

🇮🇱 Either way, Reuters thinks Iran is downplaying the Israeli strikes — that could signal de-escalation over retaliation.

🏃‍♀️ Nike’s uniform controversy

🏃‍♀️ Nike made the Team USA track and field outfits for the 2024 Paris Olympics. You can see the kits here.

🏃‍♀️ The Guardian says Olympians weren't fans of the kits: They slammed Nike's skimpy track uniforms as sexist.

🏃‍♀️ But other Olympians in Yahoo Sports defended the uniforms as inclusive, not sexist. Plus, there are multiple kits for athletes to choose from!

🏃‍♀️ Still, The NYT thinks it doesn't matter: The sexist design was Nike's primary look — and it contributes to the wider objectification of women.
