The NSA’s phone warning

The National Security Agency (NSA) issued a warning: restart your phone every week! It's needed to put off hackers.

ZDNet points out that the NSA also issued a long list of other tips to keep your phone safe.

Um, how do you restart your phone? Apple Support tells you how to do so for different iPhone models.

And How-To Geek has tips for Android users too.

Spotify CEO on music production

Spotify CEO Daniel Ek claimed that content creation costs are “close to zero”. Music Tech says artists are calling him out of touch -- and that there's a real disconnect between the corporate perspective and the realities of music production.

Metal Injection: Can't you at least hide how out of touch you are, dude? We musicians were already struggling with low royalties and high costs.

For what it's worth, Ek apologized -- saying his view was too “reductive”.

The Buzz thinks this is all the worse given that Spotify is hiking prices.

While Digital Music News points out that Spotify recently laid off thousands too.
