4 quick hits of news from the last 24 hours
Kamala & the youth vote
InsiderNJ reveals: A Pennsylvania poll found Kamala Harris leads Trump 50% to 40% among voters under 50…she's still lagging behind Biden's 2020 margins, though.
Freedomsledder.com adds that young voters propelled Biden in 2020 -- a trend Harris hopes to replicate.
But The NYT says Trump's campaign is winning over young men: Some male Zoomers don't resonate with Kamala's campaign.
Either way, WaPo says young voters have an outsized role to play in 2024 -- especially those in battleground states: They could decide the winner of the election.
Adams responds to indictment
The Independent: The FBI searched NYC Mayor Eric Adams’ home and seized his cell phone as part of an investigation into alleged corruption. Adams was later indicted on federal charges of campaign finance violations, allegedly in cahoots with Turkish officials.
Eric Adams says the indictment is politically motivated. He argues that these charges are just lies leaked to discredit him for “standing his ground”.

NBC News says some political leaders aren't backing Adam's defiant message: They believe Adams has lost public trust and should step down, saying his legal troubles overshadow his ability to govern.
Still, Washington Examiner says it doesn't seem like Adams is interested in stepping down. Other NY state officials could try to strong-arm him into resigning, though.
