๐ In the news: Joe Rogan, poisoned by sardines?
On his podcast, Joe Rogan claimed he got arsenic poisoning from eating too many sardines. Is this actually possible?
๐ Insider said it's possible: Research has linked the fish to arsenic contamination.
๐ Watch Rogan explain his sardine poisoning here.
๐ But the NY Post was skeptical of Roganโs story: Yes, sardines contain arsenic โ but you'd have to eat a ton for it to be harmful.
๐ And a Redditor on r/CannedSardines thought Rogan's story was fishy: He probably ingested arsenic from all those sketchy supplements he takes. It wasn't the sardines.
๐ On the other hand, the sardine comment earned Rogan some supporters, too. @mattzeitlin related to his love of the tiny fish: Sardines are delicious, after all.
๐ฒ Cultural trend: Meal prepping
Should you try meal prepping? Supporters say it's quick, easy, and saves money. Critics say it sucks the joy out of food.
๐ฒ Bulletproof thinks meal prepping is easy, efficient, and low-cost. You're going to need some good storage containers and some simple recipes, though.
๐ฒ But Romper says you shouldnโt bother. Meal prep sucks all the joy out of food. Cooking is supposed to be so much fun!
๐ฒ A Redditor on r/UnpopularOpinion agreed โ meal prepping is a bit weird. How do you know on Sunday what you'll want to eat on Thursday?
๐ฒ But Good Housekeeping thinks meal prepping is amazing. You save time and money, and it's perfect for dieters. Give it a try before becoming a hater.
