🛰️ Russian nukes in space?

U.S. officials sounded the alarm over Russia's developing ability to put nukes in space — but how worried should we really be?

🛰️ U.S. officials warn of Russia's growing potential to deploy nuclear weapons in space. Axios says it's concerning, but the development doesn't pose an immediate threat.

🛰️ WaPo thinks the development could spur a new kind of space race — one that U.S. engineers are likely to win.

🛰️ Still, @AdamKinzinger on X was concerned: The U.S. should reconsider its reliance on Elon Musk's space tech — he has Russian ties.

🛰️ For what's worth, the Kremlin denied the US's claims: They say the space nukes scare is just a ploy to get Congress to fund Ukraine

🛰️ Slate agrees, somewhat: This whole thing could be a clever piece of political theater by US politicians.

❄️ The ice diet

Can ice actually help with weight loss? It’s trending on TikTok.

❄️ The “ice diet” hack, consuming large amounts of ice daily for weight loss, is trending on TikTok. US News says it's more gimmick than game-changer: The science behind it is shaky at best.

❄️ Forbes agrees, and warns against the “ice hack” diet supplement. Experts are skeptical, and there isn't enough evidence.

❄️ Everyday Health thinks it's really just an ad in disguise — it was pushed by a company selling supplements that you put in ice water.

❄️ Ro agrees. There are really no quick hacks for weight loss. You just need to work out and eat right — it takes time!
