Biden’s ABC interview

Biden called his debate performance a “bad episode” in a televised interview with George Stephanopoulos. Watch a snippet here.

The Hill thought Biden had some strong moments, like calling Trump a “congenital liar” and outlining second-term priorities, but it didn't save his campaign.

But USA Today said it was an underwhelming showing overall. He didn’t do what he needed to do.

And the NY Post said it was “full of excuses”, nothing that Democrats expressed disappointment, with some calling for him to step aside.

WaPo: At least Stephanopoulos did well. He pressed Biden on his mental and physical capacity to serve another term.

Greece’s 6-day workweek

NPR: Greece has formalized a 6-day workweek. The new law allows certain employers to mandate an additional workday with 40% overtime pay.

Truthout wasn't a fan: Greece's new 6-day workweek degrades workers' rights amid neoliberal policies. Greeks already work the longest hours in Europe for lower wages!

This Redditor criticized the move for a different reason: Greece's 6-day workweeks will drive young Greeks away, forcing the country to rely on immigrants.

Still, the NYT says conservative lawmakers backed the measure: The 6-day workweek aims to tackle labor shortages and boost incomes.
