🔄 In the news: Sidney Powell pleads guilty

Donald Trump’s former lawyer Sidney Powell pleaded guilty in Trump's Georgia election interference case. What are the implications for Trump?

🔄 Time Magazine said this development looks very bad for Trump, who was also charged in the Georgia case. Powell’s sentence may be light because prosecutors believe she can provide damning evidence of Trump's guilt.

🔄 Slate agreed: Powell was heavily involved in events leading up to January 6. But there's a chance the jury won't take her testimony seriously — she is known for stretching the truth and indulging in conspiracy theories.

🔄 Hot Air also thought that flipping Powell was huge. She has been at the center of Trump's “Stop the Steal” movement, so her testimony will be pivotal.

🔄 National Review had a different take: Powell pleaded guilty to much lighter charges than what prosecutors presented her with — that could mean their case against Trump is weak.

🫧 Cultural trend: Get rid of your loofah?

Are loofahs an essential showering tool, or a breeding ground for bacteria and mold?

🫧 Real Simple says it's time to abandon the loofah. Bacteria and mold thrive in loofah material. Using an uncared-for loofah could earn you a skin infection.

🫧 Healthline adds that not all loofahs are bad, though. Cleaning your loofah once a week, and replacing it every 3-4 weeks, can keep your skin safe.

🫧 But Oprah Daily thinks loofahs are still unnecessary. Cleaning your body with your hands works just fine.

🫧 NBC News offers more loofah alternatives: If you're looking for a better exfoliator, try silicone scrubs or a dry brush.
