Chernobyl strikes

Ukraine has accused Russia of using a drone with a high-explosive warhead to strike the former Chernobyl nuclear power plant, damaging its protective shelter. The NYT says the incident underscores the urgent need for peace talks

CNN says Zelensky shared some good news too, though: Despite damage from Russia's strike, radiation levels around the plant are still normal

The UN's IAEA sounded the alarm: The world can't afford to ignore the nuclear risks of the Ukraine war -- strikes like Chernobyl highlight the conflict's persistent threats to nuclear safety

For what it's worth, VOA says Russia denied its involvement in the Chernobyl attack. The Kremlin argues Ukraine's accusation is meant to stir international discourse

Drake’s new album

In a true lover-boy fashion, Drake released an album for Valentine's Day. The NYT says “Some Sexy Songs 4 U” a Drake collaboration with PartyNextDoor, is a resilient offering worth your time

And yes, Variety says Drake addressed his rap beef with Kendrick Lamar: In “Gimme a Hug”, he raps “F*** a rap beef, I’m tryna get the party lit”

Complex thinks the album could be Drake's best yet! His public fallout with Kendrick could push him to redefine his music

This Redditor wasn't as impressed, though: “Some Sexy Songs 4 U” lacks originality. The whole thing feels like a contractual obligation

And by the way, Newsweek says the album isn't without controversy: Claims are swirling that the album's graphics copied Freddie Gibbs' brandingigger issues within the U.S. healthcare system that might need addressing.
