🇮🇱 In the news: Biden’s trip to Israel

Biden went to Israel after the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war. Did he accomplish the goals of his visit?

🇮🇱 The Guardian said the move was very risky. Now the US is implicated in whatever Israel does — and could be dragged into a conflict with other powers.

🇮🇱 But the Daily Beast viewed the trip as successful. It enabled an expansion of humanitarian aid, and a better Israel-US relationship.

🇮🇱 Hot Air wasn't impressed. Biden looked like a “bumbling idiot” in Israel — he couldn't deliver important talking points without looking at his notes. He's making America look weak by association.

🇮🇱 Politico had a mixed review. Biden certainly showed Israel that they have the US's support, but he might have failed to de-escalate the war.

🇮🇱 Either way, the Atlantic Council said Biden's work isn't over. He should use his popularity among Israelis to influence Israel's next steps.

👱‍♀️ Cultural trend: Is dirty hair in style?

Dirty hair was featured in 2024 fashion shows. But is it actually chic?

👱‍♀️ Vogue says dirty hair is a fashion statement: Spring 2024 runway shows were full of dirty hairstyles.

👱‍♀️ Gigi Hadid rocked dirty hair at the Miu Miu 2024 fashion show. Elle called it “hangover hair” — it’s cool because it’s more achievable by people at home.

👱‍♀️ But this Redditor on r/Beauty didn't get the appeal. How is it fashionable to make your hair look dirtier?

👱‍♀️ Still, Glamour Magazine thinks it's healthier for your hair if you wait longer between wash days. And with a little work, you can make the dirty-hair look feel well put together.
