Deadly pager explosions

The pagers of Hezbollah members exploded simultaneously in Lebanon and Syria. AP News says the move injured thousands and killed at least 9 people. Hezbollah blamed Israel.

@MacaesBruno slammed the attack as reckless terror: Israel killed innocent civilians in this strike.

But Hot Air disagreed: The attack was justified retaliation against Hezbollah's aggression.

And the National Review was impressed: The incident shows Israel's intelligence-gathering is nothing to sneeze at.

Still, Haaretz says there's some debate over how exactly Israel pulled the attack off: Israel could've planted explosives or used malware to overheat devices.

By the way, Hezbollah has vowed not to take the attack lying down: It promised to “punish” Israel for the explosions.

Diddy arrested

CBC: Sean “Diddy” Combs has been indicted on federal charges including racketeering and sex trafficking. He was arrested in New York on Monday.

NYT: His arrest came after mounting accusations from former associates -- the storm was kicked off when his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura sued him.

NBC says Diddy's lawyers see the arrest as unjust: They argue charges are unwarranted and his cooperation shows innocence. Also, why did the cops raid his house in military gear with guns drawn?

This Redditor says no way, he's clearly guilty. Hopefully his power and money aren't enough to get him out of trouble -- he deserves to be punished.
