The Diddy assault video

CNN reports (and links) a 2016 surveillance video -- showing Sean “Diddy” Combs in a violent altercation with Cassie Ventura. Warning, it’s very disturbing.

USA Today advises skipping the video for your own mental health.

Yahoo says the video is a wake-up call for accountability in hip-hop. Diddy was right that “time tells truth”, just not in the way he meant.

The video could speed up his federal case, thinks Fox News. What a “dirtbag”.

The LA Times agrees: This makes the federal probe all the more salient. Sadly, Ventura’s case is another matter.

Cruise ships and whales

A sei whale was found dead on a cruise ship's bow as it docked in New York. The NYT says the incident is a stark reminder of the human impact on sea life.

HuffPo: Is the cruise line really committed to marine life?? The incident doesn't speak well for MSC Cruises.

Deseret: Should we rethink shipping lanes? Right now, there's an overlap between shipping routes and whale habitats.

A Redditor on r/Cruise says this whole thing is sad. Cruise ship whale incidents are unfortunately becoming the norm. Is that why orcas are attacking?
