🕊️ Ceasefire in jeopardy

🕊️ Amidst ongoing conflict, Times of Israel reports that Netanyahu rejects Hamas's ceasefire terms. Hamas demanded an end to the war, while Netanyahu said he can’t let them regain power.

🕊️ A Haaretz Op: Netanyahu sabotaged the ceasefire, prioritizing politics over hostages.

🕊️ JPost: Note, though, that Netanyahu is willing to pause the fighting, to exchange hostages.

🕊️ But NY1.com reports that Israel is gearing up for Gaza operation as ceasefire talks falter.

🕊️ Haaretz says meanwhile, Israelis are protesting, demanding a hostage release and ceasefire — and more broadly are challenging Netanyahu's government.

🍿 “Unfrosted”

🍿Jerry Seinfeld's “Unfrosted” is a Pop-Tart origin story. The Chicago Sun Times called it “one of the decade's worst movies”.

🍿 RogerEbert didn't like it, either: “Unfrosted” is a bland Seinfeld vanity project lacking heart and humor.

🍿 But Variety was a fan: “Unfrosted” is a quirky, satirical take on Pop-Tart history. It's ridiculous, but that's part of the fun!

🍿 Why did Seinfeld want to make a Pop-Tart movie, anyway? In an interview with Eater, he says he was drawn in by the absurdist charm of it all.
