Tim Walz on guns
The NYT says Kamala's VP Tim Walz was once backed by the NRA…but after a 2018 mass shooting, he's shifted to embracing stricter gun control measures.
Walz has said he wants to ban weapons he “carried in war”. Fox News says that comment earned him some critics -- the guy never saw combat!
Reason was also a critic of Walz's gun stance: The Kamala ticket can't run on protecting “freedom” when both candidates support red flag laws that limit the rights of gun owners
But Slate says critics have it wrong: Tim Walz is a “Fudd” who supports responsible ownership -- he represents most gun owners in America.
For what it's worth, Giffords Law Center champions Walz's gun stance: He's tough on gun violence.
Broccoli hair
“Broccoli hair” is a trendy hairstyle for teenage boys that resembles florets. USA Today says it's popular because it suits many face types.
Men's XP offered a different reason for its popularity: Zoomers love the cut for its stylish embrace of natural curls.
But Newsweek thinks it's trendy because it's low-maintenance — that’s what teen boys want.
On the other hand, Daily Mail says to blame influencers: They're inspiring teenage boys to adopt the broccoli look.
