“Brainrot” content

“Brainrot” is a catchall term for mindless and absurd content online. Psyche.org says young people gravitate towards it because they feel overwhelmed by constant media pressure. “Brainrot” helps them chill out and avoid stressful news about the world.

This Redditor says it's bad news though -- it can also mean mindless scrolling for hours. Creators love it, it keep eyes glued to screens.

NYT: You don't want to be accused to having brainrot, but many online say they have it -- a good way to check is to examine your lingo. Do you constantly use internet slang? You might have brainrot.

Stampede News wonders if it's just this generation's culture -- when you boil it down, it's about sharing laughs with friends and adding humor to life. But like everything else, it's best in moderation.

LeBron & Bronny make history

LA Times: LeBron and Bronny James made basketball history by playing together as the NBA’s first father-son duo in the Lakers' season opener. To make things sweeter, the Lakers won 110-103.

Al Jazeera: LeBron was full of pride when sharing the court with his 20-year-old son Bronny -- it's impressive that LeBron has been able to stay in the game this long!

CBS News shares that playing together fulfilled their long time dream -- it was also fitting that Ken Griffey Sr and Ken Griffey Jr attended the game. They were a father-son duo on the same baseball team!

ESPN: LeBron had some sweet things to say about playing with Bronny -- he said “No matter how old I get, no matter how my memory may fade as I get older or whatever, I will never forget that moment”.
