Who would RFK’s exit help?

WSJ says the polls are clear: Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s departure from the presidential race could help Trump. Kennedy appeals to “Trumpy” people more than left-leaning voters.

The Daily Beast agrees: Kennedy's exit could tip tight states in Trump's favor.

But Harris's team isn't worried. A DNC adviser said RFK Jr.'s exit would not impact the final result of the 2024 election.

Vox's take: Kennedy's exit could boost Trump. Still, Kamala's entry into the race limits just how big of a shake-up the exit would be.

Botswana’s mega diamond

A 2,492-carat diamond was found in Botswana. AP News says it's the largest stone found since 1905.

The NYT says it's the second-largest ever found -- and the find could help Botswana revive its struggling mining industry.

New Atlas adds that it was found using x-rays: Rays are used to scan ore for diamond-like densities. The technique's great for finding large stones.

By the way, UniLad says the find is worth over $40m: “It's probably a bit outside your price range”.
