Is Kamala a lock?

VP Kamala Harris has already secured more than half of the delegates needed to cinch the nom. The WSJ says she has over 1,000 Democratic delegates confirming their support.

Axios called it: Kamala is locked in for the nom. Thank Democratic elites -- they moved to promote Kamala at break-neck speed after Biden's exit.

Hot Air: Yup, the elites moved quickly to prop up Harris. That doesn't seem very democratic, though.

And the NYT questioned if Harris is really the Democrats’ best move: There are other candidates that are more electable and exciting.

Big opening weekend for Twisters

“Twisters”, a sequel to the 90s blockbuster, had a massive opening weekend. NBC.com says it earned $81.25 in the U.S. alone -- a much larger success than people were anticipating.

Screen Rant had a theory as to why: Glen Powell's star power and fresh plot made “Twisters” a smash hit.

But WaPo thought it was something else: “Twisters” success proves sequels still reign.

Time offers yet another take: “Twisters” had an amazing weekend because of Lee Isaac Chung's unique touch.
