ποΈ Is Biden losing the youth?
Recent polls show that Biden's support from young people is falling. Is it a serious cause for concern?
ποΈ The Hill: A recent poll showed that support for Biden is falling in voters aged 18-29. Is he losing the youth?
ποΈ CNN says yes, and it's largely because of his age and his stance on the Israel-Hamas war. Young people are generally pro-Palestine, and despise Biden's support for Israel.
ποΈ The Daily Beast thinks it's also a general dissatisfaction with Bidenβs approach to the environment, student debt, and other issues that are a huge deal to young people.
ποΈ But the Financial Times points out that polls are basically meaningless this early in the election cycle. The situation will change a lot β Biden has a lot of time to gain ground.
ποΈ Why did so many people hate F1 in Vegas?
F1 had its debut race in Vegas last week, and there was a lot of hate from fans, residents, and racers. Is the hate deserved?
ποΈ Essentially Sports said many Las Vegas residents were upset about the new F1 track. They said the construction made their lives hell, with so much traffic and rerouting.
ποΈ The Athletic reported that F1 teams were frustrated, too β a water valve cover came loose during a practice race and struck a car going 200mph. That's an unacceptable safety hazard!
ποΈ And Forbes pointed out that it's having an effect on ticket prices. They plummeted 23% in just one month!
ποΈ But another piece from The Athletic said no one should freak out β it's only year 1 of a 10-year contract between F1 and Las Vegas. Interest in the race will grow, while traffic concerns and logistical issues will subside.
