Remembering Manmohan Singh

Manmohan Singh, former Indian Prime Minister and trailblazer in economic reforms, died at 92. NDTV says he is remembered fondly by leaders worldwide.

NPR adds that Singh is survived by his wife, Gursharan Kaur, and three daughters, who have shared his Delhi home since his time in office.

India Today remembers Singh's humility -- he was occasionally referred to as the “reluctant king”.

The Guardian agrees, and adds that he was a champion of “the art of the possible”. Rest in Peace, Mr. Singh.

Are New Year’s resolutions pointless?

Harvard Business Review says you should have some Year’s resolutions -- Even in uncertain times, setting intentions paves the way for growth.

But Everyday Health cautions against New Year’s resolutions -- they're honestly pointless. Most people don't even stick to them!

Another Harvard Business Review piece suggests personalization: Don't make vague goals, set your sights on something very specific and achievable.

Good Housekeeping says focus on mental and physical wellness -- those are the resolutions that you really need!

Wavelength says make some at work too -- they can boost improvement more than just regular old effort cant.

Vogue echoed the praise: BeyoncĂ©'s hometown halftime show was “predictably amazing”.

On the other hand, The Telegraph says the spectacle -- while mind-blowing -- missed the Christmas connection. The timing of the show just didn't make much sense.

Still, this Redditor says Bey's show was a win for Netflix: It was a way for the site to one-up cable's Super Bowl show.
