“AfrAId”

“AfrAId” is a thriller about a smart home device gone rogue. NBC says the film's AI-driven plot is topical: The movie mirrors real-life tech fears.

Free Press Journal thinks “AfrAId” doesn't live up to its promising premise, though: The movie's silly plot twists just don't land.

IGN was a harsher critic: “AfrAId” operates on cheap and absurd thrills. It's just not a good AI horror flick.

RogerEbert called the movie a “complete bust”: It's a horror movie that lacks tension and any sense of coherence. It's not worth watching.
