Kamala’s Hot Ones snub
Kamala Harris' campaign sought to have her appear on “Hot Ones,” a popular YouTube show where celebrities eat spicy chicken wings while being interviewed. Variety says Kamala's bid was unsuccessful. Her request was denied because the show aimed to avoid political content.
Hollywood Reporter says the denial hit hard: Her campaign missed a spicy media opportunity that seemed perfect for her.
According to Fox News, the “Hot Ones” snub came amid Harris' efforts to reach younger voters on non-political media. She was able to land a spot on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, though.
By the way, NY Post notes that “Hot Ones” has over 350 episodes . . . and it's never taken on a political candidate. The decision to reject Kamala might've been disappointing, but it was also predictable.
