📺 Univision’s hourlong interview of Trump

Univision gave Trump an hourlong interview, sparking backlash from many. Univision says they're just providing a variety of perspectives.

📺 WaPo says the interview sparked backlash from many Latinos, including actor John Leguizamo, who called for a boycott of Univision. And it’s a big change for the network, who in the past has been very critical of Trump.

📺 Former Univision president Joaquin Blaya objected: It wasn't an interview, it was a 1-hour propaganda session for Trump. What happened to Univision's values?

📺 But the Arizona Republic points out that Latino voters aren't a monolith. Many are turning conservative, and Univision played to that crowd.

📺 Univision's CEO said the network isn't a tool of either party — they were just trying to put diverse perspectives on air.

🛰️ Are AI drones the future of warfare?

Research on AI drones as weapons is increasing, but ethical questions abound.

🛰️ The NYT says AI is likely the future of drone warfare. There could be swarms of drones able to pull the trigger without human approval. Is it a good idea?

🛰️ The LA Times thinks this is the worst idea of all time. Firstly, drones use horribly flawed (and racist) facial recognition software. Secondly, who's accountable if the machine is wrong?

🛰️ But The Economist says the appeal is obvious: Machines are cheaper and stronger than humans. Plus, they're already here — it's just about volume and autonomy. Get ready for a new arms race.

🛰️ Foreign Policy believes that AI drones are clearly double-edged. They could make war less deadly and strengthen deterrence, or go completely haywire and cause incredible damage — think accidental nuclear war.
