Trump’s $1B pitch
Apparently, President Donald Trump requested $1bn from oil execs in exchange for tax and regulatory perks. The Guardian says this is “the definition of corruption” and may violate campaign finance laws. Dems are investigating.
MSNBC agrees: Trump's $1B Big Oil pitch is a brazen quid pro quo, offering tax breaks for election cash.
The Hill: By the way, the polls say Trump's alleged deal really concerns voters. Not a smart move Trump, no matter how loyal your base is.
Axios steps back: Trump's $1B Big Oil alliance is part of a larger plan to scrap Biden's eco policies.
While Forbes says this isn't the first time Trump has tried to strike a deal like this -- or that he's taken pro-oil policies that reap campaign money.

X (formerly Twitter) has updated its terms to officially permit adult content. The Verge reports this move could open up new revenue streams for X amid declining ad sales.
TechCrunch: Porn wasn't not allowed before. But now X and its users can build services around its adult content. Sounds like OnlyFans, doesn't it?
@BethMooreLPM on X is worried. She's stayed on X for its community, dialogue, and insight. Now she's wondering what her future is on X.
While @jaynordlinger on X asks: What will pro-Musk, anti-porn advocates say?
